Under Eye Dark Circles: Probable Causes and Remedies
Under eye dark circles are an indicator of something wrong inside and the biggest and probably the most important organ in your body is the liver. If the liver is clogged up, has suffered damage and is unable to detoxify the toxins, it will show up as dark circles under eyes. Try to fast and detoxify the liver by drinking coriander juice and take Milk Thistle supplements.
Not getting enough sleep is another contributing factor for under eye dark circles. Seven to eight hours of sleep is necessary every night and it should be a relaxed sleep where deep sleep, REM sleep and light sleep are in correct proportions. Snoring and Sleep apnea are diseases that contribute to restless and inadequate sleep. Stress is another factor affecting the quality of sleep. Lowering your stress by practising meditation, breathing exercises and taking Ashwagandha as a supplement can lower your stress levels.
Sinus Congestion also causes dark circles under eyes as fluid backs up and collects causing puffiness and dark circles which are actually blue but show up as black in color. Draining the sinuses will improve the condition. Try nasal cleanses and flushes. Also ayurvedic ‘Neti’ if done regularly will improve your condition greatly.
Any kind of allergies one may have will also be a cause of sinus clogging. A deficiency of vitamin C, Vitamin D and Potassium are all contributing factors so try to eat a balanced diet with lots of greens and vegetables. If you eat a lot of processed fast foods it is going to create a sinus congestion which will show up as dark circles under eyes.
Living a healthy lifestyle by regular exercise, proper diet and low stress levels will go a long way to improve your health. So try to see what you are deficient in and your under eye dark circles will be gone forever.
