A healthy body is probably the most rewarding thing one can have because it lets us enjoy all the beautiful things that life has to offer. Unfortunately however, most of the human population the world over is heading towards disease and some of them were not even heard of till as recently as 50 years ago. In a bid to improve health and live a better life, we turn to the internet to educate ourselves and know more about our body to live a healthier life. And it is here that there is a large amount of misinformation floating around. To find a quick solution to our problems, we start watching videos which claim to treat or reverse or even cure some diseases in a few days or even hours. The amount of views on these videos claiming some kind of a magical solution shows how much we have been tricked into believing that we can resolve our health issues quickly.
Eventually however, these videos do not give the desired results they claim and we must understand that although there is some benefit of having some herbal drinks for example, there is no quick solution which will undo the years of abuse in just one night or even a few days. There will start to appear some changes as we start to introduce a healthy lifestyle but the process is gradual and for all practical reasons, it will involve a lifestyle change continuing all our life. So the most important thing to understand here is that although our body is programmed to clear out and heal itself if we limit the wrongdoings to a few occasions. Eventually, the body will give way and start to develop disease if we continue subjecting it to the wrong kind of foods, a sedentary lifestyle, continuous toxins and stress.
To understand this we must know that our body continually renews itself by recycling old cells and replacing them with new ones. By default, it will produce an exact replica and a healthier cell every few days to a few months depending on which part of the body we are talking about. And helping our body by reducing the toxins we ingest, reducing the stress we are subjected to and reducing the inflammation occurring as a result of the processed foods and sugars we are eating on a daily basis. Give the body a chance to heal and recycle the dead cells by practising intermittent fasting and occasional prolonged fasts, eat whole foods and avoid refined oils. Movement and exercise coupled with some meditation to manage stress are some of the best service you can do to your body for living a healthy life and longevity. And remember there is no magic potion or drink which can give you overnight results so do not waste your time watching the videos that lay such tall claims.
