Alzheimer's: The real Cause
Alzheimer's is a dreaded disease and it is on the rise. It affects people as they age and in later stages can lead to a person forgetting or failing to recognize his own family members. A range of problems eventually start developing starting with memory loss and followed by anger, mood swings, behavior changes, depression and a host of others.
Although there can be many factors responsible for the onset of this dreaded disease including genetic factors, there are others very much under our control like Alcohol Consumption, Smoking, bad eating habits like excessive sugars and carbohydrates, sedentary lifestyle, cholesterol and high blood pressure. Taking care to avoid such conditions and properly controlling diabetes and blood pressure and keeping a good body weight can be helpful in managing this disease.
The most potent cause of this disease is something known as amyloid plaques. These are misformed proteins which tend to get lodged in the spaces between cells. They are thought to be a cause of the death of nerve cells.
And Amyloid Plaques start and spread through the liver.
To maintain a healthy liver by following a healthy lifestyle and detoxing the liver regularly will act as a deterrent to the formation of these proteins.
So how to actually avoid or even reverse the onset of Alzheimer's and Dementia?
Hands down, one of the most potent ways is PROLONGED FASTING. As your body enters into Autophagy (literally meaning self eating) it starts to clean itself. That is when it starts to recycle the damaged proteins. So, start with intermittent fasting along with occasional Prolonged Fasting on a regular basis and your Liver, Brain and your entire body will thank you !
