Never eat these foods if you want a healthy body
Refined Oils
Beware of refined oils which are loaded with Omega 6 fatty acids. Besides throwing your Omega 6 and Omega 3 ratio out of balance, they are actually toxic by nature. Refined oils like Corn Oil, Sunflower Oil, Cotton Seed Oil, Canola Oil etc. may be labelled as vegetable oils but they are actually seed oils. It is extremely difficult to extract oil from seeds and they are mixed with chemicals like Hexane which is a Petroleum by product. This results in a very foul smelling mixture which goes through various processes like extraction under high heat, deodorisation to eliminate the smells, degumming where it is mixed with acid, neutralisation where it is mixed with caustic soda,dewaxing so that it does not solidify at low temperatures and sometimes even hydrogenation to raise the melting point and stability. It is an empty calorie oil with a high smoke point to enable deep frying without much smoke. It should be avoided at all costs.
Use healthy oils which are cold extracted like Olive Oil and Avocado Oil instead if you want a healthy heart and body.
Oats
While Oats may be a tolerable choice if they are steel cut and unprocessed, the popular processed Oats labelled instant oats are processed and available is flakes which cook almost instantly. These Oats are yet another form of sugar and are not at all healthy. So if you have to, find the steel cut oats and they will take time to cook and also take time to digest.
Protein Powders
While protein is essential for us, taking too much protein will result in the body having to convert it into fat. Protein powders are high energy and almost always contain added minerals, sugars and synthetic vitamins. They can cause gastrointestinal issues while adversely affecting the gut microbiome.
Artificial Sweeteners
As soon as you consume an artificial sweetener, the brain gets a signal that something sweet is coming. So it starts the process of digestion releasing the required enzymes. The sweet however never arrives! It is a trick to fool your own brain and digestion system which can backfire. Artificial Sweeteners are known to deplete the gut microbiome creating a range of problems like bloating, leaky gut and potentially unhealthy general well being. Beside Allulose when consumed in moderation, all other sweeteners will cause long term undesirable side effects. Even Allulose can cause muscle injury if strenuous exercise is performed with its intake.
Refined flour, whole grains, French Fries and Sugary Drinks.
All the above mentioned can be considered other names of sugar. And by now we all know how damaging and addictive sugar can be. Refined flour is used in many processed foods like biscuits, waffles and cookies and loads of others. It is devoid of any nutrition and fibre. Even whole grains are not much better. While the body may convert refined flour to sugar in 10 minutes, whole grains may take 15-20 minutes besides being a source of allergens and gluten. French fries are deep fried in refined oil and usually served with ketchup. Beside being highly toxic and loaded with Omega 6 and empty calories, ketchup contains sugar and other preservatives which serve to degrade them even further.
